Elkonin Boxes: A literacy tool for for Spelling, Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism

A literacy tool to promote encoding skills (spelling and writing).

Elkonin boxes teach students to segment words into their phonological parts. Elkonin boxes can assist students with components of language such as decoding (reading) and encoding (spelling and writing).

This digital resource includes 3 designs, all pages have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Elkonin boxes, to enable students to segment and encode a variety of words!

All of my resources are designed to be “relevant for all, necessary for some”. Individuals with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD and ADHD may find them particularly useful.
