The concept of time can be complex to learn. Some students may need assistance in telling the time, particularly when it comes to the language such as:
- a quarter past
- a quarter to
- half past
Students therefore need to be skilled in reading and interpreting a clock and understanding the language in order to identify the time.
This scaffold helps students to tell the time by asking them to follow three simple steps.
This resource will be beneficial for use once a student has mastered "o'clock", and minutes.
All of my resources are designed to be “relevant for all, necessary for some”. Individuals with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD and ADHD may find them particularly useful.
This digital resource includes a scaffold to interpret quarter past, quarter to and half past the hour.
